Canvas

She makes a paper boat

     waves it in the rain puddle

She sings a sweet rhyme 

     caresses the doll to sleep in her cuddle

She gazes at the stars

     makes an innocuous wish

She gently touches the butterfly

     resting on the flower bed beneath the sky

She depicts her mind on a canvas clean

     the boat, the stars and the butterfly seen

She wakes up to stop the alarm, and

    wishes, that's how life should have been.

Soul Mate

One fine day, The sun shines brighter on you. All that you ever wished comes your way, without your say. You get a soul mate, who creeps deep inside your heart. So deep that you forget everything, and your world seems to be only him. You fall for the way he cushions, they way he pampers, the way he comforts you. You forget your own creator, you forget your family. You think that you too are of same importance to him. And then when all is shared, all has been so perfect, you come to know, that all he said, all he did was a false show. He never really feels any of your pains, nor does he feel that you are worth to be shared all with, like a soul mate. All he does is make a false story every single day. What a wonderful surprise this is from life. Only he can harm you, who resides deep inside the heart. That's why, someone has rightly said, being a stone, is the best way to live. Thank you Lord for all this lesson. Being someones love, will never be in my plate.

Order you to cook something delicious, just coz I felt like eating it...

You helped me in completing my school home work, bearing all those cries and sobs that I cannot do it myself...

I shout at you... 

You endure even the sharpest words I uttered a times - "Can't you see how others Mom's love their kids?"..

Yet again you continue to love me... 

Still the same way you did when I was a day old...

Constantly wishing me all the success and good life...

The way you took care of me since my birth, you do the same way even for your grand child...

From where do you gather so much love in you? 

Where do you hide the worries I give you?

I have fallen short of words now..
All I can say is... Mom I Love You..
